Northville, MI – JDC, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC, announced today the acquisition of Atlas Truck Sales, Inc. and Atlas Bucket Rentals, Co. (collectively referred to as “Atlas”). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Atlas acquisition marks JDC’s first add-on since partnering with Kinderhook in December 2024.

Atlas is a family-owned and operated business based in Channelview, Texas, specializing in the sale and rental of bucket trucks and digger derricks. The company has long been a trusted partner to customers in industrial and utility markets throughout the greater Houston area. The acquisition expands JDC’s presence in its fastest-growing end markets and adds meaningful regional density across Texas, further enhancing fleet utilization and customer reach. JDC’s acquisition of Atlas is representative of the Company’s targeted strategy of growing its specialized equipment fleet and customer network through the acquisition of entrenched market leaders in attractive geographies.

Catalyst Strategic Advisors served as financial advisor and Crain Caton & James served as legal counsel to Kinderhook and JDC on the acquisition of Atlas. Financing for the transaction was provided by a syndicate led by Comerica Bank with participation from Truist Bank, Huntington Bank, KeyBank, Citizens Bank, Fifth Third Bank and First Merchants Bank.
